Primea Touch Plus, no water

I have a brand new machine that worked for 10 cups of coffee.
Now it grinds the beans, but does not brew any coffee. If I use pre-groung coffee it works ok. Sometimes I get coffe, but most of the time it does not give water. I can get hot water out of the machine and pre-ground hot coffee, but not with whole beans.
Sorry, I do not speak German.

I think the problem is too much and too fine grinded beans.
Look at the usermanual to change the settings for for the grinder. less fine and less time of grinding.

Hi !

Look at the usermanual " Opti - Dose "

turn it " Off " in the " Menu " this Programm switching the fine of coffee and time of grinding !

maybe it put to much coffee into the Brewing Group ( last post of christian sch. ) ! and to fine Powder too .

Turn off this Menu point and Post result !

I have got it wrong form the start. I have the Primea Touch and not the Touch Plus. Just before I read your replies, I cleaned the brew unit.
I suppose with the Touch, I have to go inside the Service Menu to reduce the grinding time and coarseness?
I will look into it and post a result by tomorrow.

PS! I think your english is right on the spot, as myself not being an native english speaker(Norwegian).

I get an error 5, call assistance. Unfortunately I cannot find any service centre in Norway.

Error 5 = low water flow ( Pump )

1. change the quantity of coffee ( lower )

2. clean the Brew Group ( the upper Brew sieve ) under water

dry the funnel before install Brewing group again !


then start your Saeco and make a cup of coffee !

I cleaned the brew group, dried it thoroughly. Now I get "Prime the machine" and after about 4 minutes "Error 5 call assistance"
When I turn the machine off and on it gets on with the "Prime the machine" and error 5 after some minutes.

Yes I did refill. It goes on and on with the "Prime machine"/error 5 rountine.
