    The voltages read:- 26.1V 4.95V 7.39V The 26V and 8V seem a fair way off. Not what I would consider in tolerance? What do you think? Thanks, I will be sure to use low ESR capacitors.

    Thanks Harry, I'll check that. Everything works fine except the touch sensor. Is it likely a noisy, low or bad 8 VDC would affect only the touch screen?

    Thanks again. I have checked the connections and they tested fine. There are capacitors on both boards, normal caps on the power board, surface mount on the cpu board. I will wait a few days for a reply, otherwise I will change the power supply caps (I have them). I will come back here and say...

    Thanks Grisu. Are you thinking the electo caps located on the power board (not the CPU board)? I have PM'ed Stefan as well now, thanks.
