    Hurrah! I did it! There was a bad capacitor C1-470 uF at the power supply circuit. After changing it works great now. Thanks for the links, this forum is great. Best, Ivo

    Actually my power board is M5DPWRV15 and the CPU board is M5DCPUV16 , but since only this section is in English and I didn't find any other treads about these I've posted here. If it's not the right place please tell me where I can look for support. Anyways I continue to struggle with this...

    Thanks for your reply. According to my measurements at the LM2940 - when switched on cold - it measures 8.9V at the input and 4.5V at the output. When normal operating (same as switched on hot) it's 12.5V at the input and 4.75V at the output. It seems that something squeeze high power at the low...
