In my effort to achieve a properly formed puck, I bypassed the dreg box switch and watched the puck being ejected. I noticed that as the piston was traveling up and out of the chamber, a small layer of water would come out over the top of the chamber and spill into the dreg box.
Is this small layer of water being sucked out by the piston and spilling into the dreg box normal?
I seem to remember that my old Magic machine had more consistently solid pucks. Also, how important is the consistency of the ejected puck? With my Royal coffee bar the pucks seems to break apart as it drops.
