Well I thought I had my machine fixed. Alas this morning it proves me wrong. My machine is the 8855, similar to the 8872, I believe. Ⅰ descaled it twice in test mode using durgol and error 05 went away. I did get another 05 after the water tank went dry but it resolved after removing and inserting the tank a couple of times and priming the water circuit. Today it is back after making one cup of coffee. Below are my readings from test mode BOTH before the descale and this morning.
Before
ACV P1 17 pulses water out of coffee spout
DCV1 P2 12 pulses
DCV2 P2 11 pulses water out of left milk carafe spout
DCV4 P2 11 pulses water out of right milk carafe spout
DCV5 P2 11 pulses
After
ACV P1 0 pulses and water goes into bowl below brew group
DCV1 P2 11 pulses water goes into the bowl below brew group
DCV2 P2 10 pulses water out of the left milk carafe spout
DCV4 P2 10 pulses and water out of the right milk carafe spout
DCV5 P2 water out of the hot water spout
The machine has made almost 14000 cups. I think it is around 6 years old. Decal done every 1 or 2 months, but with a citrus based descaler.
Any suggestions?
