Very long pre-brew?

I have a Saeco Primea Touch plus and the pre-brew is like 4-5 seconds and I think it should be like 1-2 seconds.Is it normal that time period(4-5 seconds) of pre-brew.Sorry for the english,but my german sucks.

Hello!

Look at your Usermanual for settings of pre-brew. There is off - normal - long. If there is setting long, then 4 - 5 seconds are normal.

Well,on normal it's the same.I mean I don't see any difference between the long and normal pre-brew.Maybe the amount of water injected differs?
