So back in 2008 KSB and Frank helped me kick my machine alive... died some 3-4 month ago again... got the T410 and other components via our new RS-Components here is SA ..jiha..
Then at the final test.. had some blockage in my water lines... then the boiler blew up.. well there is a short.

My question is.. what boiler replacements are out there now.. I have a local Saeco dealer, I'm also thinking the machine is now ..well in 6 days 10 years old. And has been busy... is it worth it..on the other hand machines like this down here.. are stupidly expensive. The pod ones are cheap but then one is bound to pods. And they do get boring very quickly.

Also.. never use the steam/frotter.. could I rewire that element as the main heater? It is like 2.5 times bigger than the main element.. so it will heat up fast :)?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

ask your Saeco-Dealer for a new Spidem Villa. Should be much cheaper than the Saecos.
It's the same as the Vienna, it has a StainlessSteel Heater, called Boiler"J".
The Spidem is manufactured by Saeco, so he should be able to get one.
If you don't like the design of the Villa, you can put the mountig plate with all components into the Vienna-Case.
I did this to my Solis Master 5000.
Old style, new internals, perfect.

Regards
