Sorry for asking you guys questions in English, as I cannot speak Germen.
I recently got a coffee machine Solis Master 5000 Digital. I refurbished it and unfortunately it was not functional.
There are 2 main problems.
1) LCD is down, cannot see characters. (see attached)
2) The functions are not working. I entered Test mode, everything is OK, but i cannot make a coffee by pressing the "small cup"button.
As I have other SUP018 coffee machines on hand, i did the following tests.
- I used Vienna plus motherboard to connect to it, everything is functional. So it means the accessories are all good.
- I replaced the LCD with other 1602 LCD display, but nothing happened.
I read from other pages of this forum, saying that the original LCD was LeaderTime EX0124.
It has 13 pins and the pins are:
CASE; R//W; E; D7; D6; D5; D4; D3; D2; D1; D0; VCC(5V); GND/VSS (0V)
I followed it and used cable to customized connect the other brand 1602 LCD display, but not working.
(Nothing is shown on the screen. Pin 12 have 4.96v, which means good)
1602A.

The chip on the motherboard is ATMEGA103. I think there are programs saved in the chip.
Maybe it is the chip issue?
Could anyone give me some advice what should I do or test next to fix the issue?
Thank you very much in advance!
