Checked that circuit and it's definitely not 5V power but 120V
Those capacitors are not in parallel but one connected to positive and one to negative of the ac/dc bridge
There is 5 electrolytic capacitors on the board and none is rated for less than 50V
2 x 47uF/200V
1 x 47uF/50V
1 x 120uF/50V
1 x 330uF/50V

Seems to be very different to other bords I know. Sorry, then I am out of ideas.
There should be a bridge on the secondary side of the transformator with caps and 5V voltage regulator.
Old caps are often the reason for problems after cold start and get better after time when they warm up.

I guess the logic circuits that operate on 5V require very little power and they just stepped it down without
the need for larger amperage and clean power.

BTW what you think about the pump test at the end of the video I posted?
Enough pulses to perform OK?

Well, happy to report that pump replacement did fix it. I guess you can't trust the numbers in the test menu pump test.
The Exprelia is using the same EAP5 pump like many other models so I have them handy

On another note, what a PITA to swap the pump, they sure know how to bury it deep as possible

Anyway, many thanks to Grisu for being so patient with me troubleshooting the problem!

Changing the pump is not that difficult, turn the machine upside down and loosen all the screws that fix the steel base frame. Then pull off the protective conductor cable and remove the door. Then you can dismantle the frame upwards and get to the board for the pumps very easil

I ended up sliding out everything with the plastic tray on the bottom.

For sure, this machine looks like brand new inside, only very light dust, nothing else.
