Replaced TIP33C with TIP35C to remedy blocked gears but apparently other components damaged when the board shorted out. Haven't been able to locate a replacement and wondering about refurbishment of my board. Any reputable providers to recommend that rework these boards?

You could ask user @uhrmacher if he is able and willing to repair your board.
Or get a used working one on ebay.

If the brew group motor turns too slow is it likely the transformer gone bad? Haven't changed the Zener diode yet either. Suggestions?

No, always TIP33C gone wrong or bad contacts on board or tracks between soldering eyes.
Did you ask member uhrmacher to repair your board?

Use Incanto SUP021Y schematics in pinned thread, this little part 33V-regulation for brewing motor is the same on your board.
Check all connections between parts and resistors as well. Defective Zener diode would end with too high voltage, not too low.

Bought myself a multimeter.

Pins one and two (assuming the red and blue wires) aren't reading any voltage. The two yellow wires in the same connector read 36.2 volts. Suggestions of what other components to troubleshoot/replace? Now the brew motor isn't turning at all. The test mode shows the CPU is signaling okay.

Do you read AC or DC? Should be DC!
Both yellow should be over 100V and red/blue not more than 35V (below ok but at least 20V).
Of course only when motor should be running, otherwise there is 0V.

Check cables near motor, there are inductors built into the cable, often the soldering is broken over there.
