Frage Royal cappucino - Water amount ?

Hi all

I have just cleaned my machine, and changed alot of gaskets so now it is as new

But i think that the amount of coffee pr cup is now less ?

How many ml should be in a large cup of coffee ?

130/150ml and a large 240ml,better is two grind in a large cup of coffee

Just did a test, i took pregrind coffee, with out putting in any coffee and i got the following water amount out :

Large coffee ~150ml
Coffee ~50ml
Espresso ~35ml

So something is for sure wrong

What could be the issue ? Besides descaling the machine, i have mounted new gaskets on the steam heater, the brew unit and on the water nozzle that enters the brew unit.
I see no water spillage anywhere ?

Could be a hose inside the machine thats stuck or one of the 2 white water amount meters ?

I have just pulled the machine apart....again....

Everything looks in perfect condition ! No blocked tubes/hoses and the water meters spin like a charm !

So ?

Hi,

These amounts may be reprogrammed ... keep the key pressed until the mug contains the desired amount of coffee .... when releasing the key the water flow stops and the amount will be programmed into the EEPROM. Pushing the key again (for a short time) will produce the last programmed amount.
The values are organized in a ring counter ... the minimum is 50, the maximum 800 flowmeter pulses. 600 pulses equal 200 ml. The values may be checked in the diagnostc menu..

Is there an good "overall guide" out there for suchs button commands(including the diagnostic menu commands and so on) ?

Anyway - great coffee is once again served here

The diagnostic menu is kept secret by Saeco. But there is a pretty good guide in German .... written by Sergio Schreiber
