Saeco Professional SUP 016RE overheating

- Identification of machine: Royal Prof. SUP016RE 06/2008 software ver.1.3.01
- Only 850 caffes


Water boiler (big) always heater till mechanical termostat make off .

Run in test mode ,make 4+5+6

temp1 goes to 125c and up then termostat make off
temp2 stay on 35c

I was change jp2 termostat, mesure all triaks(3) and no shorts on triacks a1-to-a2.
What can i do next ? Replayes triaks ? all 3 ? but no shorts on there.

Water boiler in this model has two heaters. I disconnect side heater on water boiler and no more overheating.
And what next?

Whats's the name of your PCB .... M6AVxx or RORDPWRVxx ?? xx is supposed to be the version number.

On the RORD_PWRV12 power board all triacs are fired via optocouplers. Search the optocoupler that switches the BTA12-700BW of the heater element you disconnected. Test this IC. Does it provide a permanent on-signal to the triac ?
