Saeco Stratos ventilate message error

My Stratos is showing VENT message.
I did some tests with another stratos controller board and everything work fine, so I came to the conclusion the problem is on the circuit board….but where to start?

With the damaged controller board the boiler heats up, but the message never goes out.

Please help

Hello Rato,

the ventilate message appears if the pulses from the flowmeter are insufficient.
Main cause may be the flowmeter itself or a clogged water system (limescale).
If the machine works with one circuit board and not with the other check flowmeter supply and input.

It cannot be clogged otherwise when I changed to the other circuit board the machine works fine.
But I did check flow meter and its ok.
I suspect the problem is on the IC on the main board.
With the circuit board that cames with this machine the vent message is displayed when I turn it on, then I open the valve to vent the boiler but the pump does not pump any water...but if I remove the circuit board and install another circuit board from another Saeco Stratos it works fine, and never shows VENT message, the machine works 100% ok...makes good expressos. All menus are available and no errors.

Die Prozessoren sind gesteckt, Du kannst sie vorsichtig tauschen.
Dann siehst Du ob dies das Problem ist.

With the circuit board that came with this saeco stratos the pump does not work, and VENT appear on display, I cannot do nothing besides turn on/off the machine.

With another saeco stratus board I have, the pump does work and NO Vent message on display, everything perfect 100%

Or is it caught in some decalcify-mode not finished well.
Sorry dont know about it, just try to give hints.

Can you change processors only to verify board?

I did change only the IC cpu/processor from the good board to the "bad board" and it did the same thing, Vent message again on display.
I turned on and off ok but nothing worked, then I disconnected the machine on the side switch for about 30mins and when I turn it on again, then I heard the familiar short noises from the microswitches from the motor, positioning the brew group. It worked!!!
The stratos is now running OK, I did a lot of tests after that and its perfect.

I didnt understand why the good cpu displayed Vent at first, and only after I reboot the machine from the mains it started to work.

I need to buy a processor to fix it.
My other stratos has 45.300 coffes!!! this one only have 2800! I think im going to keep this one.

I did think about the triac but tested fine…

Yes it was a faulty cpu

Yes I have two Sup015 and yes I need a processor.
Bosch Solitäire should have same cpu. Im going to try to find one here, if I cannot get one here I will let you know, thanks a lot.
