Definitely not. The Primea Touch plus uses a switching power supply -->> Switching Power Supply (SMPS)- Design Tutorials, Circuits, Tools ...
The mains voltage difference of 10 VAC and the frequency 50/60 Hz are not important.

The LCD-problem, you have encountered, points rather to a microprocessor flaw.
The Primea uses a SOC-chip (system on chip) The LCD-Controller is integrated on the chip -->> Datasheet

There are only 3 possibilities to look for this error ...
1. ... the microprocessor
2. ... the cable between the interfaces of the micoprocessor and the LCD-panel
3. ... the LCD-panel itself.

and if still will not work so it is the parts
do you have the part number of this items that maybe damege? maybe my seller can send them to me
i have the Primea Touch Plus New Edition Version 02.09.05

and can i in this option to upgarde it to new version? like the 2008 ES ?

Hi,

If the cable is o.k. it means you have either to change the LCD-panel or the microprocessor board.
It is hard to believe that a software update will solve the problem.
Please shoot a picture of your color display and upload it into the forum - so that I can see what we are talking about.

Hi,

I wrote ... either the LCD-panel or the microprocessor board. You have to be 100% sure which item is involved. Both are expensive. Since Saeco gives (in Germany) a 2 yours warranty, you should take advantage of the warranty. If this warranty is not valid in Israel as your dealer told you, try to send your machine to Saeco in Italy to get it fixed. --->> Firmeninformationen - Saeco International Group SpA ....
On this page Saeco claims it is exporting all over the world.

it cost to much to send it all the way and back, to much!!

i purffud to buy this part, one of them and to istall it my self
mayby my seller will secsess to get back the broken one and to returen it to saeco in germany

what do you think about the pic?

saeco in israel told me that all !! the primea like i have that come to israel all of them get my problem and the cpu board was get repalced and the problem was agian. so them dont import this primea agian to isral

Hi,

Your seller should not send the malfunctioning machine to Saeco in Germany but to Saeco in Italy. The machines are manufactured in Italy. Saeco Germany recognizes through the serial numbers it was not involved selling the machine and may refuse the warranty-repair.

No, it's impossible for me to say where the error is situated. In the first place I see a vertical timing problem ..
According to the datasheet (advanced LCD interface paragraph) the display controller may be used with different panels (TN and TFT panels) with and without a timing ASIC-chip. So it can be either ... or.

Hello!

I had the same LCD-Problem (same pcture at LCD) at an Nintendo DS Display from my Kids. Clean the cable and the conector, put the cable in right position and it will work.

At the NDS i needed wo times to get the right picture.

Hi s_yossi2,

No repairs will be done by playing "questions and answers". Christian is right open your machine. You simply have got to do it.
If your are too afraid to overcome your fear..... return the machine to your dealer and try to get a refund or a warranty repair.
