"Please cool down" can mean anything with a Siemens coffee machine, unfortunately. Recently I had the same error message, caused by a bad switch of the infuser door (!)

Can you make a dump of the Program Data of the PIC chip? If you can, it is of no use to ask for a dump here. And if you would really need it: Forensuche ! ;-) It has been posted already...

Leo, have you erased the EEPROM Data (so all FF FF FF etc.)? You say "original firmware". But if you flash the Program Data of a pcb with the same 52... number, the firmware will be exactly the same as the original. In my opinion the EEPROM Data is not part of the firmware of course ;-)

The firmware is available for PC. With a little searching on Google you must be able to find it, there's a different version for the PicKit2 and for the PicKit3. Forummitglied SpanierHH aus dem Kaffee-Welt Forum kann eine gebrauchte Platine mit Software 5213216621 liefern, als das noetig ist.

Kannst du bitte die Datei hier hochladen? Wird hier Program Data (PIC) verschiedene DeLonghi Maschinen - Diskussionsthread schon auch gesucht.

You'd better stay away form MPLAB and use the 'simple' PicKit software, this software:

Bitte den Software dann auslesen und hier hochladen, mit einige Bilder von Platine. Danke! In dem "Program Data" kann kein Problem sein, das ist naemlich nur "read only". Ein Fehler kann nur in dem "EEPROM Data" sein, also diesem Teil loeschen mit PicKit.

Auslauf mal reinigen kann helfen.

Genau warum brauchst de diesen Datei? Kannst du den PIC nicht mehr auslesen?

So why do you need it, is the PIC not accessible anymore?
